The business model for commercial and schools to harness freely available, renewable, clean, natural solar energy to generate electricity for their own consumption is a compelling one.
The company or school funds the capital expenditure themselves. Based on a detailed financial plan, a company can decide to fund the whole capital expenditure (including services) with monies it has or borrowed from its own sources. Our brokers and banks can help in this process , subject to survey and the usual lenders' fees.
In this option the company benefits from the free electricity and all the feed in and export tariffs that it gets from the local electricity provider. This is a long term investment and if the money is borrowed, during the initial years the feed in tariff may not be sufficient to cover the repayment terms and additional monies may be required to cover the quarterly payments.
The company or school has no capital outlay and benefits from the free electricity, which could be quite substantial. There is very little risk in this option, however, the company does not benefit from the potential upside of the investment, which is funded by Wireless Edge.
The company shares in the capital expenditure and shares in the risk and potential benefits. The company receives the free electricity but it also shares the feed in and export tariffs that the system provides.
