Solar modules

Our solutions include using the top manufacturers for solar modules: including Canadian Solar, Solar Frontier and Schueco. These manufacturers provide MCS registered solar modules using monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar modules with high module and cell efficiencies.

In addition, under certain circumstances, the use of the next-generation thin-film technology also has its merits. Although, at present, efficiency ratings are lower, potential future products show much greater efficiencies.

Inverters

Energy harnessed from the sun by the solar modules produce a direct current, DC.  Aninverter is an electrical device that converts this direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC); the converted AC canbe at any required voltage and frequency with the use of appropriate transformers, switching, and control circuits.

The high quality inverters used in our designs are mainly from SMA. SMA Solar Technology AG develops, produces and sells solar inverters and monitoring systems for photovoltaic applications. SMA is the world’s largest producer in this segment and is the only vendor that has a product range with the matching inverter type for any module type and any power class. Turnover in 2010 is Euro1.9 billion.

Mounting Rails

The mounting rails and brackets used in our solutions are from the two top German manufactures with a proven success in solar energy: Schueco and Schletter. Both German companies develop and produce state-of-the-art solar mounting systems and forward-looking products made of aluminum and high-grade steel.

Network Equipment

Our networking products, used for the monitoring of the performance of our renewable solar energy systems are from Cisco Systems. As a Cisco channel partner for many years, Wireless Edge, has a proven track record working with Cisco to develop technological advanced solutions in the UK, especially in the Education sector. Using our state-of-the-art datacenter in London, Wireless Edge has the ability and systems to develop new and innovative solutions for the renewable solar energy sector.
